Compare three chimney routes for a wood-burning sauna stove, see the differences at a glance and ask ZAPARA to confirm the right kit before you order.
Start with the building path
A chimney kit is not selected by appearance alone. The heater outlet, ceiling and wall construction, clearances, roof position and local requirements all affect the final configuration.

The best option is the one that matches both the stove and the building path. This overview helps narrow the choice; it does not replace a project-specific installation review.

Before you order
Chimney components are part of a heat and venting system. Clearances, supports, penetrations and adapters must be checked for the exact sauna heater and site—not assumed from a product photo.
Request a fit checkSend the brand, exact model and outlet size. A 115 mm connection is useful information, but diameter alone does not prove full-system compatibility.
Share the ceiling height, wall or roof location and photos or a drawing. Note every turn and the distance between the heater and the planned penetration.
Confirm required clearances, shielding, listed components and local rules with the installation instructions and the qualified professional responsible for the work.
Final chimney design and installation must follow the heater and chimney manufacturers’ instructions, applicable building and fire requirements, and the authority having jurisdiction. Do not assume that the heater, floor shield, wall shield or every site-specific part is included. Narvi installations may require a separate adapter; confirm the exact model before purchase.
A complete wood-fired setup
The flue route affects heater placement, protective surfaces and the way the room is built around the stove. If you are still choosing the heater, compare ZAPARA’s wood-burning sauna stoves first. If you already own one, send the model information so the chimney route can be reviewed as one system.
Buying guidance
Still comparing an out-the-top and out-the-side chimney? These answers explain what to prepare before speaking with our team.
Ask a different questionThat depends on the heater position and the available route through the building. A top-exit kit follows a vertical path. A side-exit configuration turns toward a wall and then continues upward outside. Clearances, penetrations, supports and local requirements must be reviewed for either option.
No chimney kit should be treated as automatically universal. The heater model, outlet, required adapter, installation geometry and listed chimney system all matter. Ask ZAPARA to confirm the intended combination before purchase.
No. The connection diameter is only one checkpoint. Component listing, adapter requirements, clearances and the complete planned route must also match the heater and installation instructions.
Send the heater brand and model, a photo of its label and outlet, ceiling height, wall or roof construction, the proposed exit location and a simple drawing with measurements. More complete project information makes the initial review more useful.
Do not assume they are included with a chimney kit. Review the selected product page and your ZAPARA quote for the exact supplied components, then identify any heater, floor protection, wall protection or site-specific parts required separately.
Yes—contact ZAPARA with your postal or ZIP code and the products you need. The team can confirm current availability and the appropriate delivery or pickup option for your location.
